Angel Meal Train
“Do not neglect to do good and share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” Hebrews 13:16
Angel Meal Train strives to promote a spirit of giving, love, charity, and growing relationships between friends, family, our parish, and our community. Angel Meal Train is our way of helping to create a path for parishioners to follow the Lord in his mission of generosity and helping those in need.
There are many families in our parish community that are struggling to put meals on the table. Angel Meal Train is an organized meal giving service where volunteers can sign up to provide a meal to a family. Once we verify that certain criteria are met, our committee matches volunteers to meal recipients to ensure that the meal/delivery meets both the volunteer’s and the recipient’s schedules.
Angel Meal Train is an organized meal giving service where volunteers can sign up to provide a meal(s) to a family struggling to put meals on the table due to a significant life event such as a new baby, surgery recovery, family death or other need. Depending on need, it may be set up as a Potluck or as Individual Meal Requests.
The family to receive a meal will place a container (i.e., cooler), in a designated area (i.e., their front porch), and the person providing the meal will place the prepared meal into that container on the delivery date.
