Do you have a passion for helping others? Are you full of great fundraising ideas? Do you like to organize events? Are you only able to help out once in a while? If you answered yes to any of these, Christian Service might just be the place for you.
What do we do? Picture us as a big umbrella, with many aspects of parish life underneath it. Using Catholic Social Teaching as our guide, we support outreach organizations, we raise awareness on important ideas and issues, we act to support others; we strive to serve like Christ and to see Him in all we encounter. Scroll through the different areas at the top of the page, and if you are interested in a particular one, or just want to help out, please contact: Mary Ann Guerriero, Christian Service Coordinator, [email protected] or 248-446-8700 ext. 104.
The Christian Service team meets on the 1st Wednesday of the Month, September through May, at 10 AM in the Multi-Purpose Room. Guests are always welcome. Stop by and see what we're all about!

Jail and Outreach Ministry is an all inclusive ministry organization. We serve and minister to all individuals affected by crime—-victims, offenders, families. We provide hope and healing through an approach to the total person that encompasses quality care, attention to individual spirituality, emotional well-being, and human dignity.
We provide for the immediate needs of the inmates while incarcerated or upon release, and for the needs of families of the incarcerated.
We serve Victims, Offenders and families of both.

What We Do
Each month at St. Dominic Outreach Center, hundreds of eligible individuals and families living in our community receive bags of groceries, clean high-quality clothing, new cribs and mattresses for newborn infants, and hygiene supplies.
The Center hosts a "Summer Fun Day" neighborhood picnic each July, a "Back to School" party to distribute school supplies each September, and a Christmas season "Holiday Party" each December.
St. Dominic Outreach Center also distributes food baskets to families each Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter as well as gifts at Christmas.
St. Dominic Outreach Center recognizes there are many needs which we cannot address. The Center will refer people to appropriate church, medical, and social services agencies where they can obtain further assistance.
